The VEWL is comprised of 33 teams from the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. These 33 teams form 4 divisions of 8 teams (Bethlehem Catholic and Central Catholic will compete as 1 team) and will do battle through the course of the season to be crowned the VEWL Regular Season Team Champion. The VEWL has 17 weight classes that these wrestlers compete in. The weight classes are: 46, 50, 54, 58, 61, 64, 67, 70, 73, 76, 80, 85, 90, 100, 115, 130, and up to 160. The teams are made up of wrestlers from each teams community in grades K thru 6. Each team in the league could be comprised of a Varsity team, a Junior Varsity team and an Exhibition team. The VEWL holds a League tournament at the end of each year for our Varsity, Junior Varsity and Novice wrestlers. For more information on our league visit https://www.vewl.org.
